The Position: PAR is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic full-time Medical Assistant Float for our Waterford PAR location. The Medical Assistant Floater position will travel between PAR locations. Enjoy weekly pay with the opportunity to grow in a team orientated work environment.

Job Responsibilities for Medical Assistant Floater 

  • Inject patients in high volume clinics. 
  • Obtain current vitals, patient history, current medications, and reason for visit from patients.
  • Perform allergy skin testing on patients.
  • Accurate document billing for each testing performed on patients. 
  • Utilize inventory management system to dispense, transfer, and adjust inventory when needed.
  • Schedule new clinic patients, explaining policy and procedures to patients. 
  • Send prescriptions as needed.
  • Manage medication and ancillary inventory.
  • Will be cross trained in biologic and allergy injections to provide coverage as needed. 

Minimum Qualifications for Medical Assistant Floater 

  • At least 1 or more years of MA experience, preferably with experience working in medical practice.
  • CNA or Certified MA training completion or equivalent education or experience is preferred.

Advanced Practice Clinician: Weight Loss

The Position: PAR is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical clinic on a full-time basis. In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with our clinic physician, following weight-loss protocols to deliver exceptional patient care. This is an exempt position responsible for providing weight loss services, including assessing, diagnosing, treating and educating patients. 

This position works closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. The selected candidate must be willing to travel to different PAR locations.

 

Job Responsibilities for Advanced Practice Clinician: Weight loss

  • Patient Care Excellence: Preform comprehensive physical exams, review medical and psychosocial histories, and order diagnostic tests such as EKGs, phlebotomy and metabolic breathing analysis.
  • Medical Management: Prescribe and dispense FDA approved appetite suppressants in compliance with state and federal guidelines. 
  • Holistic Support: Provide weekly counseling on nutrition, exercise and lifestyle changes to support patients' weight loss and maintenance goals.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and document patient progress using our EMR system, ensuring personalized care and follow-up.
  • Team Collaboration: Train clinical and nonclinical staff, conduct patient consultations and engage with referral physicians to promote clinic success
  • Patient Engagement: Conduct follow-up calls to support patients and address concerns, fostering long term success and clinic profitability.

 

 Qualifications for the Advanced Practice Clinician: Weight loss

Experience: A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred. APRN or DEA certification is preferred. Master of Nursing Degree as a APRN Nurse Practitioner. Must maintain NP licensure and NP Board Certification. Physician Assistant: Must maintain PA licensure.

PRACTICE ADMINISTRATOR

Virginia Ear, Nose & Throat, with the Virginia ENT Surgery Center, is recruiting for an experienced, energetic senior manager to assume the role of Practice Administrator.  Virginia ENT has 4 clinical offices and an accredited surgery center. The practice has 12 physicians, 5 nurse practitioners, 13 audiologists and physical therapists as providers. The departments in the practice include ENT, audiology, allergy, and balance. Allscripts is the practice management/EMR platform for the practice and HST is utilized in the surgery center.

The practice provides comprehensive ENT and related services to patients of all ages.  The physicians are very forward thinking and they are interested in finding a qualified administrative leader to work with them and the senior managers in successfully growing and developing the practice in the years to come.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Fiscal management of the PC, the Surgery Center and the real estate holdings.
  • Working collaboratively with the Board of Directors on all Governance issues related to the 3 organizational units.
  • Monitoring and negotiating contracts in relation to the practice and the surgery center
  • Managing the direct reports to the Practice Administrator which include the Director of Operations, the Director of Revenue Cycle Management, the Controller, the Director of Audiology, the Director of Physical Therapy, the HR Manager, and the Surgery Center Administrator.

Qualified candidates will have a strong financial background and data analysis skills.  A strong working knowledge of business office functions and a knowledge of Quickbooks are highly desirable.  An understanding of IT networks, excellent critical thinking skills, experience with strategic planning and operations are also desirable.
