PAR is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical clinic on a full-time basis. In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with our clinic physician, following weight-loss protocols to deliver exceptional patient care. This is an exempt position responsible for providing weight loss services, including assessing, diagnosing, treating and educating patients.
This position works closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. The selected candidate must be willing to travel to different PAR locations. The Respiratory Therapist will perform and interpret a variety of pulmonary function tests, including spirometry, plethysmography, and diffusion studies. This role also involves administering oxygen therapy and nebulizer treatments, educating patients on pulmonary care, maintaining testing equipment, and coordinating schedules for physicians and specialized testing.
Qualified candidates must have an associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and at least two years of experience, with clinical experience preferred. Candidates must hold current RRT or CPFT certification and possess a valid Virginia State Respiratory Therapist license.
